Taylor Momsen, an American actress and singer-songwriter who hails from St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the singer in the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen has had her songs included in films and television shows including How to Be single Going to the Limit and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sibling Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. She was a dancer in the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. When she was just three, Momsen acted professionally in the Shake 'n Bake commercial for national television. Momsen's professional career came to slow halt for three years before she was offered an acting role as the lead in the WB show Misconceptions. Momsen was also a part of Saving Shiloh 2006. During this time. She was also among the top 3 for Hannah Montana, but Miley was chosen for the part.
